Product details

The LM360N: For a high-speed threshold detection circuit, this delay sets the minimum detectable pulse width — a 130 ns window means the comparator will miss edges shorter than that, so budget this into your overcurrent or zero-crossing detect path. It runs from a single or split supply rail spanning ±4.5 V to ±6.5 V, drawing up to 32 mA quiescent. The 20 mA typical output current drives TTL loads directly — no external buffer needed for standard logic fan-out.

Through-hole package and board-fit

The 8-PDIP footprint is a standard socket-compatible layout — it drops into existing DIP-8 sockets without a board spin. If your application sees ambient below freezing or above 70°C, the LM360N is outside its guaranteed range.

RoHS non-compliant per the manufacturer. If your BOM requires RoHS exemption or full compliance, this part does not carry the exemption — factor that into your procurement review.

Frequently asked questions

Will LM360N drop into a board designed for LP311DR without rewiring?

No. The LP311DR is a surface-mount device (SOIC-8), while the LM360N is a through-hole 8-DIP. The pinout and package are different — a board layout change is required to substitute one for the other.
