It drives brushed DC motors bidirectionally using its two half-bridge outputs, or configures as a unipolar stepper motor driver. The PWM interface keeps the control simple — feed in a PWM signal and direction logic, and the internal charge pump handles the high-side gate drive. With a 3.5 A continuous output rating and a load supply range spanning 4.5 V to 37 V, this part covers the majority of 12 V and 24 V industrial motor applications.

3.5 A output and 37 V load rail — thermal and supply headroom
