1.2 GHz clock generator — PLL-based frequency synthesis
The Texas Instruments CDCE421RGETG4 is a single-circuit clock generator with an integrated PLL, capable of producing output frequencies up to 1.2 GHz from an LVCMOS or crystal reference input. This part generates differential LVDS or LVPECL outputs from a single-ended input — the PLL multiplies the reference frequency up to the 1.2 GHz ceiling, covering the clocking needs of high-speed serial links, data converters, and FPGA transceivers.
Supply, package, and temperature grade
Housed in a 24-VQFN with exposed pad (4x4 mm body), the package requires a thermal land on the PCB to pull heat from the die.
Texas Instruments has marked the CDCE421RGETG4 as obsolete.
