XNOR gate for mixed-voltage and wide-temperature boards
The CD4077BMT is a quad 2-input XNOR (exclusive NOR) gate from the 4000B CMOS logic family, in a 14-SOIC surface-mount package. It performs the logical equivalence function — output is high when both inputs match — across a supply range of 3V to 18V. The wide 3V to 18V supply tolerance means this gate can interface directly between 5V and 12V or 15V logic domains without a level translator, simplifying mixed-voltage board layouts. Rated for -55°C to 125°C operation, the CD4077BMT suits avionics, downhole instrumentation, and engine-bay electronics where the ambient temperature exceeds the commercial or industrial range.
