Bidirectional TVS for 85.5V rails
The 1.5SMC100CAHR7G: Qualified to AEC-Q101, the part operates across -55°C to 150°C junction temperature, covering under-hood and engine-bay thermal profiles. The bidirectional configuration means a single device clamps both polarities — no need for series pairing on AC-coupled or floating lines.
DO-214AB footprint and reflow profile
Housed in a DO-214AB (SMC) surface-mount package, the device occupies the same land pattern as standard SMC diodes. The cathode band is absent on a bidirectional part — orientation is non-polar, which simplifies pick-and-place and eliminates polarity verification on the line. Supplied on Tape & Reel, the part is feeder-ready for high-volume assembly. The package body is compatible with standard lead-free reflow profiles; no special bake-out is required if the MSL floor life is respected.
Active production, sourced per RFQ
The AEC-Q101 qualification and the 1500 W peak pulse rating are the primary selection anchors for automotive transient protection applications.
