1.5kW peak pulse in a DO-201 axial package
The 1.5KE75H: Its 60.7V reverse standoff voltage means it sits transparently on a nominal 48V bus, only conducting when the line exceeds 67.5V breakdown (minimum). The 108V clamping voltage at 14A peak pulse current (10/1000µs waveform) limits the spike the downstream load sees.
AEC-Q101 qualification and the -55 to 175°C operating range
The single unidirectional channel clamps positive transients relative to ground. For bidirectional protection on AC-coupled or bipolar lines, two devices back-to-back are needed — the datasheet's application section shows the layout.
Package and mounting — DO-201AA axial leaded
Supplied in the DO-201AA (DO-27) axial-leaded package, also referred to as DO-201. The through-hole mounting suits point-to-point wiring, terminal blocks, or PCB layouts where the transient energy is dissipated through the lead frame into the copper pad area. The Tape & Reel packaging option supports automated insertion for volume builds.
