Active BOM line — no LTB clock
The 1.5KE47AHA0G: This TVS is a safe line-item for ongoing production builds without a last-time-buy deadline.
Clamping envelope for 40V rails
The 40.2V reverse standoff voltage is the continuous DC rail this TVS protects — a 12V or 24V automotive bus sits well below this threshold, so the part stays in standby until a surge event. Breakdown voltage min is 44.7V, and the clamping voltage max at Ipp is 64.8V — the downstream silicon must survive that peak without secondary breakdown. The unidirectional Zener construction means the cathode band orients the TVS for positive-rail clamping; reverse polarity protection requires a separate diode.
Through-hole axial footprint
Housed in a DO-201AA / DO-27 axial-lead package, supplier device package DO-201. Through-hole mounting with 0.100-inch lead spacing — compatible with standard perforated boards and wave-solder profiles. The Tape & Box packaging suits hand-insertion or axial-lead forming machines; no reel for auto-insertion. No power-line protection — this is a transient suppressor for signal or low-power supply rails, not a mains-side MOV replacement.
