AEC-Q101 qualification (grade) certifies the part for automotive stress levels including temperature cycling, high-temperature reverse bias, and moisture resistance — the same reliability screen used in under-hood and chassis-domain electronics. The junction temperature range spans -55°C to 175°C, covering hot engine-bay and cold-start extremes without derating. Power-line protection is not claimed (no internal filter structure), so this TVS is intended for transient clamping only — not for continuous overvoltage or surge suppression on mains inputs. The 1500 W rating at 25°C must be derated per the datasheet curve above that temperature.
