1500W bidirectional TVS for 300V rails
The 1.5KE350CAH: The single bidirectional channel handles AC line transients or reverse-polarity events without needing two diodes back-to-back — one DO-201 axial package covers both polarities. Junction temperature range spans -55°C to 175°C, so the clamping performance holds across cold-crank and under-hood thermal profiles without derating the peak pulse power at elevated ambient.
AEC-Q101 qualification and 3.2A pulse current
The 1500W rating is tested at 25°C; derate linearly above that per the datasheet curve. Peak pulse current is 3.2A for the 10/1000µs waveform at the 482V clamp voltage. For shorter transients (8/20µs), the peak current capability is significantly higher — the 1500W rating is energy-limited, not current-limited. No power line protection feature — this is a transient suppressor, not a continuous overvoltage clamp. It is designed for occasional surge events, not sustained fault conditions.
The 1.5KE series is a mature standard-product line with broad cross-shipment across multiple manufacturers, so allocation risk is low outside a general passive/component shortage cycle. The DO-201AA / DO-27 / Axial package is a standard JEDEC outline; no custom tooling required. Sourced through independent distribution channels with full lot traceability.
