1.5KE350AH TVS Diode — 1500W Zener Clamp for Automotive DC Rails
Its 1500W (1.5kW) peak pulse power rating at 10/1000µs handles load-dump and inductive kickback surges common in vehicle electrical systems. The 300V reverse standoff voltage means the diode does not conduct at normal operating levels up to that rail voltage. Breakdown occurs at a minimum of 333V, clamping the surge to a maximum 482V while conducting 3.2A peak pulse current. This clamping profile protects downstream semiconductors rated for 500V or less.
Package and Board Integration
Housed in a DO-201AA (DO-27) axial-lead through-hole package, the 1.5KE350AH mounts into a standard 0.100-inch pitch hole pattern. The axial body allows point-to-point wiring or PCB through-hole soldering — common in high-reliability power supplies and automotive junction boxes where surface-mount TVS devices might not survive repetitive thermal cycling. The wide junction temperature window also suits industrial and avionics applications where the ambient may exceed 85°C.
AEC-Q101 qualification provides the documentation traceability required for automotive PPAP submissions — the device is manufactured on an IATF 16949-certified line with full lot traceability and reliability test data available on request.
