Package and board integration
Housed in a DO-201AA (DO-27) axial leaded package with a through-hole mount. The DO-201 body handles the 1500W pulse without exceeding the junction temperature limit of 175°C, provided the lead length and PCB copper area offer adequate heat sinking. The axial form factor allows hand insertion or wave solder; the leads are tin-plated for compatibility with standard solder processes. No power line protection feature is implemented — this is a dedicated transient suppressor, not a crowbar or foldback device.
