Automotive-grade TVS in a DO-201 axial package
The 1.5KE220AHB0G: The unidirectional channel protects a single supply rail or signal line.
Clamping performance and board-level fit
The breakdown voltage range starts at 209 V, so the device begins to avalanche before the rail exceeds its absolute maximum rating. The clamping voltage of 328 V at 4.8 A peak pulse current defines the maximum voltage the downstream circuitry sees during a surge. For a 1500 W pulse, the clamping factor (Vc / Vbr) is about 1.57 — typical for a Zener TVS in this power class. The DO-201 axial package requires a lead bend and through-hole solder joint; the anode band identifies the cathode end for unidirectional orientation. Bulk packaging suits manual or wave-solder assembly lines.
The AEC-Q101 qualification and automotive grade make it a direct fit for under-hood and chassis-domain protection circuits.
