Dual Schottky in a TO-252 — the common-cathode pair
The RBQ15BGE45ATL: Each diode is rated for 15 A average rectified current, making the pair suitable for center-tapped or dual-output rectifier stages where the cathodes share a common rail.
Forward drop and thermal limits
Forward voltage is 590 mV typical at 7.5 A per diode — a low enough Vf to keep conduction losses manageable in a 15 A leg.
Package and rework reality
Housed in a TO-252-3 (DPak) with the supplier package code TO-252GE, this is a surface-mount part with a single exposed tab that carries the common cathode connection. The tab is the main heat path — the PCB copper area under it sets the thermal resistance. Rework is straightforward with hot air: the tab wets quickly, and the two anode pads are clearly separated, so lifting the part without lifting a pad is routine if the board is preheated to 100 °C.
