Dual PNP pre-biased pair in SOT-563
The EMB59T2R from ROHM packs two PNP transistors with integrated bias resistors into a single SOT-563 package. Each transistor has a 10 kΩ base resistor (R1) and a 47 kΩ base-emitter resistor (R2), so the pair is self-biased and ready to switch from a logic-level output without external resistors. Collector-emitter breakdown is rated at 50 V, with a maximum collector current of 100 mA per transistor.
Switching speed and drive capability
Transition frequency of 250 MHz means these transistors can handle load switching well into the VHF band — useful for gating RF signals or driving small relays at high repetition rates. The 150 mV saturation voltage at 5 mA collector current keeps conduction losses low in logic-level shifting or LED drive applications.
Package and footprint reality
SOT-563 is a very small package — about 1.6 mm × 1.6 mm — so the PCB footprint is tight. The EMT6 supplier device package is the same outline.
