What the 1 A / 30 V rating means for your BOM
The AQY211EHAX is a PhotoMOS™ AQY series solid-state relay — SPST-NO (1 Form A) — rated for 1 A continuous load current at up to 30 V AC or DC. The 500 mOhm max on-state resistance means at 1 A the relay dissipates about 0.5 W internally; that heat has to leave through the 4-SMD package's solder joints and board copper, so the actual current you can run in a 70 °C ambient may be lower than the headline 1 A figure.
Package and rework reality
4-SMD (0.300", 7.62mm) with Gull Wing leads — the lead pitch is 2.54 mm, same as a DIP-4, but the body sits flush on the board. Reflow profile should match the datasheet's recommended peak of 260 °C; the Gull Wing lets you inspect the solder fillet visually, which is useful when you're trying to figure out which part actually died on a board that came back from the field. For a repair bench swapping one dead relay, the Cut Tape option avoids buying a full reel.
