Active production — 10 Mbps digital isolation in a 5-pin mini-flat package
The FODM8061R2V: The open collector Schottky clamped output drives logic-level loads directly, and the 20 kV/µs common-mode transient immunity keeps the link clean in motor-drive and inverter environments where fast-switching edges couple noise across the barrier.
Parametric fit — speed, isolation, and drive capability
Propagation delay is 80 ns max both tpLH and tpHL, with rise/fall times of 20 ns and 10 ns typical — tight enough for 10 Mbps Profibus or DeviceNet fieldbus interfaces without bit-rate margin loss. The output sinks 50 mA per channel from a 3 V to 5.5 V supply rail, so it interfaces directly with 3.3 V or 5 V logic families without a level shifter. Forward voltage is 1.45 V typical at 50 mA max input current. Temperature range spans -40°C to 110°C, covering industrial cabinet and under-hood environments. The 5-Mini-Flat package is a 6-SOIC footprint with 5 leads — the missing pin is the NC on the input side, so the layout matches standard 6-pin SOIC optocouplers.
Sourcing and lifecycle — active, ROHS3, tape-and-reel ready
ROHS3 compliant. Supplied in Tape & Reel (TR) or Cut Tape (CT) — the TR option suits automated pick-and-place for volume builds. No official successor or cross-reference is listed; the FODM8061R2V is the current production variant.
