The Omron E2S-W13 1M is an inductive proximity sensor from the E2S series. It offers a 0.063 mm sensing distance, NPN-NO 3-wire output, and runs on a 10 V supply.
Output and wiring
NPN-NO output means the transistor sinks current when a target is present. The three-wire configuration matches the typical DC proximity sensor wiring convention.
Where it fits
The IP67 rating and plastic housing make this sensor a good fit for packaging lines, conveyor systems, and light assembly stations where occasional washdown or dust is present. The -25°C to 70°C operating range covers most factory-floor conditions but excludes freezers or ovens. The unshielded design gives a slightly longer sensing range than a shielded equivalent of the same diameter, but requires more care in mounting to avoid false triggers from adjacent metal.
