32 MHz HCS12 core with 32 KB flash and CAN
The NXP S9S12P32J0VFT is a 16-bit HCS12 microcontroller running at 32 MHz, with 32 KB of on-chip flash and 2K x 8 of RAM. The 4K x 8 EEPROM provides non-volatile parameter storage without external parts. Integrated CANbus, SCI, and SPI peripherals make it a natural fit for automotive body controllers, industrial sensor hubs, and gateway modules where a single MCU handles both the network interface and local I/O.
The 10-channel 12-bit ADC (A/D 10x12b) samples analog sensors directly — temperature, pressure, or position — reducing the external signal-conditioning bill of materials.
48-QFN package and board integration
The 34 general-purpose I/O give enough headroom for a CAN transceiver, a few serial peripherals, and local switch/sensor inputs without a port expander.
