Pressure range and output scaling
The MPXH6400AC6T1 is an absolute pressure sensor covering 2.9 PSI to 58.02 PSI (20 kPa to 400 kPa). The analog output scales linearly from 0.2 V at zero pressure to 4.8 V at full scale, with a ±1.5% accuracy across the span. Supply voltage is 4.64 V to 5.36 V, typical for a 5 V rail with margin. The absolute pressure type means the output references a sealed vacuum reference — no vent tube needed, simplifying board mount integration.
Temperature range and compensation
The on-chip temperature compensation holds the accuracy spec across this range without external calibration. Maximum overpressure is 232.06 PSI (1600 kPa), or four times the full-scale rating, providing a safety margin for transient spikes in pneumatic or hydraulic lines.
Housed in an 8-SOIC package (0.335", 8.50 mm width) with a top port — the barbless male tube (0.13", 3.3 mm) accepts push-on hose. Surface-mount gull-wing leads suit standard reflow profiles, and the supplier device package is 8-SSOP. Available in Tape & Reel (TR) or Cut Tape (CT) for prototype or production volume. The port style is barbless, so a retaining clip or adhesive is recommended for vibration-prone installations.
ROHS3 compliant per the manufacturer's declaration. The MPXH6400A series includes other pressure ranges, but a drop-in replacement would require verifying the output scaling and port geometry.
