Dual H-bridge with integrated control and power stage
The MPC17531ATEP is a fully integrated motor driver combining control logic and Power MOSFET output stage in a single 24-QFN-EP package. It drives brushed DC motors or bipolar stepper motors using a parallel interface, with four half-bridge outputs configurable as a dual H-bridge. Each half-bridge delivers up to 700 mA continuous output current, with the motor supply range spanning 2 V to 8.6 V — suitable for battery-powered applications where the rail drops under load.
Package, footprint, and thermal interface
Housed in a 24-VFQFN Exposed Pad (4x4 mm body), the MPC17531ATEP requires a thermal pad on the PCB for heat sinking.
