The NXP MMA5212AKWR2 is a single-axis (X-axis) digital accelerometer from the Xtrinsic family, designed for high-g inertial sensing in automotive safety systems. It measures acceleration up to ±120g and communicates over a digital SPI interface, with an output sensitivity of 4 LSB/g.
Supply voltage and power rail fit
The supply voltage range of 4.2V to 17V covers both regulated 5V rails and direct automotive battery voltage. The wide range also provides headroom for load-dump transients on unregulated supply lines, a common requirement in automotive ECU designs.
It is ROHS3 compliant.
