The MK60DN512VLQ10 runs an ARM Cortex-M4 core at 100 MHz, delivering 1.25 DMIPS/MHz through the single-cycle multiply and hardware divide — enough throughput for a real-time control loop with a TCP/IP stack and a USB host stack running concurrently. 512 KB of on-chip flash and 128 KB SRAM leave room for a FreeRTOS or bare-metal scheduler plus the application image, without external memory in many designs.
