AEC-Q100 triple OR gate for 12V/24V automotive logic
The Nexperia 74HC4075PW-Q100118 is a triple 3-input OR gate from the automotive-qualified 74HC series, built for the temperature and supply-rail conditions found in vehicle body electronics, powertrain control modules, and industrial controllers that live under the hood or on the factory floor. Three independent OR gates, each with three inputs, in a single 14-TSSOP package — surface-mount, 4.40 mm body width, which fits tight ECU layouts where board space is already allocated for the MCU and CAN transceiver.
2V to 6V supply — bridges 3.3V and 5V domains
The supply range from 2V to 6V lets this gate sit on a 3.3V microcontroller bus or a 5V sensor interface without a level translator. Input logic thresholds scale with VCC: low-level threshold is 0.5V to 1.8V, high-level 1.5V to 4.2V, so it recognises CMOS and TTL levels across the supply range. Quiescent current is a maximum 2 µA — negligible in a battery-backed module that stays awake for CAN wake-up detection. Output drive is 5.2 mA source and sink at the rated supply — enough to drive a logic input on the next gate, an LED indicator, or a low-speed optocoupler input, but not a relay coil or solenoid (that needs a driver stage).
Maximum propagation delay is 17 ns at 6V supply with a 50 pF load. At 3.3V the delay will be higher (typical 74HC derating), but still fast enough for SPI clock rates up to 10–20 MHz and for address decoding in a memory-mapped peripheral select. If your bus runs above 30 MHz, consider 74AHCT or 74LVC series for tighter timing.
