The MK20DX256VMD10 is a 32-bit ARM Cortex-M4 MCU from the Kinetis K20 series, clocked at 100 MHz with 256 KB of Flash, 64 KB of RAM, and 4 KB of EEPROM.
Peripherals and connectivity — what is on chip
The MK20DX256VMD10 integrates a 42-channel 16-bit ADC and a 2-channel 12-bit DAC, which covers multi-sensor acquisition and analog output without external converters. The USB OTG with on-chip transceiver simplifies a device/host/OTG port to a single connector and a few passives. The EBI is useful if you need to attach an external SRAM or a parallel LCD controller, but it consumes 20+ I/Os — plan the pin allocation against the 100 available GPIOs. DMA, I²S, and a programmable watchdog timer are also on board.
