On-chip CANbus, USB OTG, and a flexible EBI/EMI bus for external memory or FPGA glue make this a single-chip candidate for a gateway node that bridges a CANopen fieldbus to a USB host. The I²S interface handles audio streaming for voice-annunciator panels. DMA offloads the Cortex-M4 from peripheral servicing, keeping the 100 MHz headroom for the application code.
