30 MHz Cortex-M0+ — throughput for control loops
The ARM Cortex-M0+ core runs at 30 MHz. The 4 KB SRAM limits data buffer depth; plan for tight FIFO usage or offload to external serial memory via SPI.
Memory sizing — 16 KB Flash, 4 KB RAM
16 KB of Flash holds firmware for a single-purpose controller — a fan speed regulator, a temperature logger, or a Modbus RTU slave node. The 4 KB RAM supports a few dozen 16-bit variables and a modest stack. If the application needs field-upgradeable firmware or larger lookup tables, consider the higher-density LPC83x siblings with up to 32 KB Flash.
Active lifecycle, ROHS3 compliant
NXP lists the LPC832M101FDH20FP as Active in production. ROHS3 compliance is confirmed.
