The MT25QU256ABA8E12-1SIT is a 256 Mbit (32 M x 8) SPI NOR flash from Micron's Quad I/O family, organized for high-density code storage and fast readback in embedded systems. With a 133 MHz clock rate and Quad I/O interface, the sustained read throughput reaches 532 MHz equivalent — enough to support XiP (eXecute-in-Place) from the flash for many Cortex-M and application processors without a separate DRAM.
