Thermal supervisor with a 2.65V trip point
The MIC2807-NNYML TR is a thermal supervisor IC from Microchip's IttyBitty™ series, combining a voltage monitor with a 2.65V threshold and a temperature-sensing function. Reset timeout is 200 µs typical after the fault clears, giving the supply rail time to settle before the system restarts. The single-voltage monitor covers one rail, which is typical for RF power-amplifier management ICs where the PA supply needs tight supervision.
Package and temperature grade for harsh environments
Housed in a 17-VFQFN / 17-MLF® package (supplier device package 17-MLF® 2.8x2.5 mm), this is a surface-mount part with an exposed pad for thermal conduction. The -55°C to 125°C operating range covers military and industrial temperature extremes — the die and package are rated for the full span, not just commercial limits. The exposed pad on the MLF package must be soldered to a thermal via array under the part to keep junction temperature within limits during high-ambient operation. The 200 µs reset timeout is short enough that the supervisor does not delay system restart after a brownout event.
No pin-compatible second source or direct replacement is recorded in the Microchip portfolio. The IttyBitty™ series is a proprietary footprint; a board spin would be required to substitute a different supervisor family.
