The MIC2569YQS is a 3-output high-side N-channel power switch from Microchip, purpose-built for CableCARD slot power control. The 2:3 input-to-output ratio lets two enable inputs control three outputs, matching the power sequencing typical of conditional-access modules.
Fault protection set — no external sense resistors needed
Built-in current limiting (fixed threshold), over-temperature shutdown, and under-voltage lockout protect the switch and the downstream load. The slew-rate controlled turn-on limits inrush current into capacitive loads, and the load-discharge feature pulls the output to ground when the switch is disabled — preventing a floating output that could hold a CableCARD in an undefined state.
