Package, board integration, and protection
On-chip protection includes over-temperature shutdown, short-circuit current limiting, and under-voltage lockout (UVLO), so the regulator survives output faults and brownout conditions without external supervision. Enable and Power Good control pins allow sequencing and status monitoring — the output can be gated by a logic signal and the Power Good flag indicates when the rail is within regulation.
