MEMS timing with field-programmable frequency
The DSC8002BI1T: Maximum supply draw is 10 mA, and the standby function drops the disable current to 1 µA — a battery-backed real-time clock section can gate the oscillator off during sleep and keep the coin-cell drain negligible.
Blank-programmable — order the unprogrammed device
The DSC8002BI1T ships as a blank (user-programmable) part. The factory does not pre-set the output frequency; you program it yourself, typically through Microchip's TimeFlash or a compatible programmer. This means a single BOM line covers multiple frequency variants — the same order code can be programmed to 25 MHz for one build and 50 MHz for the next, reducing inventory line items and single-frequency risk.
