Supply voltage, programmability, and power budget
The DSC8001BL5: It is a blank (user-programmable) device, meaning the output frequency is configured at programming — not factory-set — which lets a single BOM line serve multiple frequency variants by programming the part during assembly or via a distributor programming service. Maximum supply current is 12.2 mA during active operation, while the standby function drops the disable current to just 15 µA, enabling low-power sleep modes in battery-backed or automotive always-on systems.
