Maximum supply current is 12.2 mA at the highest frequency — well within the budget of a small LDO or a PMIC clock output.
Blank-programmable — order and configure per design
The DSC8001AI1 ships as a blank (user-programmable) device. You specify the output frequency at ordering via Microchip's programming service or a compatible programmer. This means a single stock-keeping unit can serve multiple frequency variants in production, reducing inventory line items. Tube packaging is typical for hand-assembly or low-volume reflow; for tape-and-reel, check the order code suffix.
