125 MHz LVPECL clock source – MEMS, not quartz
The DSC1222CE2-125M0000T is a 125 MHz MEMS-based oscillator with LVPECL differential output, part of Microchip's DSC12X2 series. The MEMS resonator makes it inherently more resistant to shock and vibration than a quartz crystal — a real advantage in fan-cooled equipment or portable gear that gets dropped. The Enable/Disable function lets the system shut down the oscillator and drop supply current to 23 mA typ, useful for power-sensitive sleep modes.
Package and temperature – fits indoor boards
Housed in a 6-VDFN package measuring 3.20 mm x 2.50 mm with a seated height of 0.90 mm. The small footprint and low profile suit dense PCB layouts where board real estate is tight. Rated for -20°C to 70°C — the commercial/industrial temperature band. That covers most indoor equipment, office networking gear, and test instruments.
Active production – no end-of-life pressure
