MEMS oscillator with LVPECL output for high-speed clock trees
Supply voltage accepts 2.5V to 3.3V, so the same part works on a 2.5V FPGA bank or a 3.3V clock fanout buffer without a separate regulator. The 6-VDFN package (7.00mm x 5.00mm, 0.90mm height) is a standard footprint for 5x7 mm oscillators; the low profile suits tight card cages.
Microchip lists the DSC1212NI1-C0027T as Active.
What the LVPECL output means for your board
LVPECL is a differential logic standard with a typical swing of 800 mV peak-to-peak centered around a 2V common-mode voltage. It requires 50-ohm termination to VCC-2V at the receiver — the layout must include the termination resistors and a clean AC-coupled path. The 50mA typical supply current includes the output driver current; budget this into the power rail sizing.
