Transient suppressor for 1500 W surge environments
This part is designed for general-purpose transient protection on DC power rails and signal lines where a single bidirectional device replaces two unidirectional diodes in series.
Clamping voltage and surge current limits
The 245.7 V clamping maximum at 6.1 A peak pulse current defines the voltage the protected circuit sees during a surge. The 136.8 V standoff rating means the diode does not conduct at normal operating voltages up to that level, so it sits across the rail without leakage penalty. The 1500 W peak pulse power rating is the energy-handling ceiling for a single 10/1000 µs pulse — derate for repetitive events or higher ambient temperatures.
Active production, through-hole axial package
The part ships in the B, Axial package — a through-hole form factor suited for point-to-point wiring, terminal blocks, or PCB mounting where the axial leads are bent and soldered.
