86.5 V breakdown, 500 W pulse — SQ-MELF bidirectional Zener
The single bidirectional channel clamps transients on both polarities, making it a fit for AC signal lines or dual-supply rails where the surge can swing above or below the reference.
The reverse standoff voltage of 69.2 V is the maximum DC or peak AC voltage the protected line can carry without the diode conducting appreciably; above that, the device enters breakdown at 86.5 V minimum and clamps the transient to 125.1 V maximum. The 4 A peak pulse current rating (10/1000 µs) defines the surge the diode can sink while holding the clamp voltage within spec — useful for sizing the protection margin on a 48 V or 60 V DC bus. No power line protection circuitry is integrated; this is a stand-alone Zener TVS, not a rail-clamp array or a multi-channel protector.
