Breakdown and clamping — sizing for 12V rails
Minimum breakdown voltage is 14.25V, with a typical standoff of 11.4V — this part protects 12V nominal buses where transients must be clamped before reaching 21V. The single bidirectional channel simplifies layout by protecting both polarities with one device, but the 23.8A peak pulse current (10/1000µs) limits per-event energy absorption compared to a larger-package TVS.
