The Microchip 11LC010T-I/TT is a 1 Kbit serial EEPROM that communicates over a single-wire interface — one data line plus ground, no separate clock pin. That single-wire bus is the headline feature: it frees up a GPIO on the host MCU compared to I²C or SPI parts, which need at least two signal wires. Organized as 128 x 8 bits, it is sized for calibration constants, serial numbers, or boot parameters — not firmware images.
