One-wire EEPROM — saves a GPIO on tight designs
The Microchip 11LC010T-I/TT is a 1 Kbit serial EEPROM that communicates over a single-wire interface — one data line plus ground, no separate clock pin. That single-wire bus is the headline feature: it frees up a GPIO on the host MCU compared to I²C or SPI parts, which need at least two signal wires. Organized as 128 x 8 bits, it is sized for calibration constants, serial numbers, or boot parameters — not firmware images. The 100 kHz clock rate is adequate for occasional reads and writes of small data blocks; it is not a streaming memory.
Storage temperature exceeds the operating range; that limit governs handling, not running.
Package and footprint — three-pin SOT-23
The SOT-23-3 package (TO-236 / SC-59 compatible) is a three-pin surface-mount footprint: Vcc, GND, and the single-wire data I/O. No dedicated Vpp pin, no extra address lines.
Microchip lists the 11LC010T-I/TT as Active. ROHS3 compliant.
