Package and board integration
Housed in a DO-201AE axial package (also known as the supplier device package DO-201AE), the part mounts through-hole. The axial leads carry the surge current into the PCB; the copper pad area under the body and the trace width to the leads set the thermal impedance for repetitive pulse handling. Tape & Reel packaging (also available as Cut Tape) suits both hand-insertion and automated assembly lines.
The wide Tj range means the clamping voltage and leakage current remain within datasheet limits across the full temperature sweep — no derating needed for ambient conditions up to 125°C, though repetitive pulse energy should be budgeted against the thermal resistance of the DO-201AE body.
