The TPSA474K025Y7000: It can be quoted to order against a BOM line for both new builds and field repairs.
0.47 µF capacitance at 25 V rated voltage with a 7 Ohm ESR — the ESR is the practical limit for ripple current handling. In a 25 V rail decoupling application, the 7 Ohm series resistance means the capacitor self-heats less than a low-ESR tantalum would, but it also limits the ripple current to roughly 1.8 A RMS at 100 kHz before the internal temperature rise hits the datasheet limit. The ±10% tolerance keeps the capacitance within a tight window for timing or filter circuits — a 0.47 µF nominal part will measure between 0.423 µF and 0.517 µF at 25 °C and 0 V bias.
The molded construction and 1206 case keep the part mechanically stable across that range.
