The TPSA335K025A1000 is a molded tantalum capacitor from KYOCERA AVX's TPS series, rated at 3.3 µF capacitance with ±10% tolerance and 25 V DC rated voltage. The 1 Ohm ESR at 100 kHz is the key parameter for ripple current handling and self-heating — a 1 Ohm ESR means the capacitor dissipates I²R heat from the ripple current, so the RMS current must stay within the package's thermal limit to avoid exceeding the 125°C maximum operating temperature.
