2.2 µF, 35 V, 1.5 Ohm ESR — decoupling fit for a 35 V rail
This TPSA225M035R1500 is a molded tantalum capacitor from KYOCERA AVX's TPS series, rated at 2.2 µF capacitance with a 35 V voltage rating and a maximum ESR of 1.5 Ohm. The 1.5 Ohm ESR keeps ripple heating manageable in a power-supply decoupling role, while the 35 V rating provides margin on a 24 V or 28 V bus.
At 125°C the voltage derating curve applies — the 35 V rating is at 85°C; above that the working voltage must be reduced per the TPS series datasheet.
