The TPSA225K010Y1800 is a molded tantalum capacitor from KYOCERA AVX's TPS series, offering 2.2 µF capacitance with ±10% tolerance at a rated voltage of 10 V. The 1.8 Ohm ESR keeps self-heating under control in decoupling and filtering roles where ripple current is modest. The 1206 (3216 Metric) surface-mount package (0.126" x 0.063") is a widely used footprint, compatible with standard pick-and-place assembly and reflow profiles. The molded case provides mechanical protection and consistent board stand-off.
