68 µF, 10 V, 1.3 Ohm ESR — the bulk decoupling fit
The TAJW686K010PNJ: The 1.3 Ohm ESR limits the self-heating under AC ripple; for a 100 kHz switching regulator output, the ripple current should be kept below the capacitor's rated ripple current derived from the ESR and the maximum power dissipation at 85°C. The ±10% tolerance means the actual capacitance at 25°C and zero DC bias sits between 61.2 µF and 74.8 µF — tight enough for timing circuits in a 555 or a simple RC delay, but not for a precision filter where a 5% or 1% part would be specified.
The 2312 (6032 Metric) case measures 6.00 mm x 3.20 mm with a seated height of 1.50 mm max. The low profile fits under a neighbouring component on a dense board — useful when the BOM calls for a 68 µF cap in a tight vertical clearance.
