Active production — TAJW107K006RNJ lifecycle and sourcing
100 µF capacitance at 6.3 V rated voltage — this is a bulk decoupling cap for a 3.3 V or 5 V rail where the ripple current stays under the ESR-limited ceiling. The 900 mOhm ESR sets the self-heating floor: at 100 kHz ripple, expect about 0.5°C rise per 100 mA RMS. For a power rail with 200 mA ripple, the cap runs warm but within the 125°C max. The molded construction and TAJ series mean the part is built for reflow soldering with a standard moisture sensitivity level — no special bake required if the reel seal is intact. The 2312 (6032 Metric) footprint matches the standard tantalum case size W; the 0.059" seated height fits tight board stacks.
The cap holds its capacitance within ±10% across that range, but ESR rises at cold temperatures: expect roughly double at -55°C versus 25°C. For a board that sees -40°C startup, the inrush current into the low-ESR cap is higher, so check the surge rating against the power supply's hot-plug profile.
