The Infineon TLE4971A075T5UE0001XUMA1 is a high precision coreless current sensor. It eliminates the ferrite core found in traditional Hall-effect current sensors, which removes saturation, hysteresis, and weight from the design. The coreless architecture also means the sensor's output is linear over a wide current range without the non-linearity a core introduces near saturation. For a BOM engineer, this translates to a smaller footprint, no core-loss thermal management, and a cleaner signal chain — the sensor's output needs less post-processing than a cored Hall sensor would.
Tape & Reel — what the packaging tells you
Tape & Reel is the standard for automated pick-and-place assembly — the part is presented on a carrier tape wound on a reel, which the placement machine feeds directly. Cut Tape is a shorter length of that same carrier tape, typically used for prototyping, rework, or small-batch production where a full reel would be wasteful. Both formats contain the same device; the choice is about volume and handling.
