AEC-Q100 NOR Flash for automotive firmware storage
It stores firmware and calibration data in automotive ECUs, ADAS modules, and telematics units where non-volatile storage must survive power loss and frequent read cycles. The SPI Quad I/O interface at 133 MHz delivers fast code shadowing and over-the-air update throughput without the pin count of a parallel NOR device.
For a typical automotive bootloader that copies 2 MB of code to RAM, that cuts the transfer time to roughly 30 ms — fast enough to meet cold-start timing targets.
The wide body gives good creepage distance for high-vibration environments.
