That matters when the MCU or SoC boots directly from this Flash (XiP) — the CPU doesn't stall waiting for code fetches. For data-logging applications, the high clock rate reduces the time the bus is occupied, freeing the SPI peripheral for other tasks. The 133 MHz rating is the maximum; real throughput depends on the host's SPI timing and the number of wait states programmed, but the headroom is there for designs that need fast readback.
Package reality — 24-BGA reflow and inspection notes
