256 Mbit NOR Flash in a 24-ball BGA
Housed in a 24-ball TBGA (8x6 mm body), it is a surface-mount component intended for embedded code and data storage where fast read throughput and small footprint matter.
The 133 MHz clock rate, combined with Quad I/O (four data lines), gives a theoretical read throughput of 532 Mbps (133 MHz x 4). For a microcontroller that supports memory-mapped Quad-SPI, this allows execute-in-place (XIP) with minimal wait states, eliminating the need to shadow code into RAM for many applications.
